Wheat Dalia
Discover the wholesome goodness of our Dalia, a nutritious and hearty dish made from organic cracked wheat. This versatile grain is transformed into a comforting porridge-like dish that is packed with fiber, essential nutrients, and a delightful nutty flavor.
Ingredients:
1 cup organic wheat dalia
1 onion, chopped
1 tomato, chopped
1 green chili, chopped
1/2 tsp mustard seeds
1/2 tsp cumin seeds
1/2 tsp urad dal
1/2 tsp chana dal
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
Salt to taste
2 cups water
2 tbsp oil
Fresh coriander leaves for garnish
Recipe:
1.Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, urad dal, and chana dal. Let them splutter for a few seconds.
2.Add onions, green chili and sautƩ for a minute until onions turn translucent.
3.Add chopped tomatoes and sautƩ for a minute until they turn soft.
4.Add turmeric powder and mix well.
5.Add organic wheat dalia and roast for 2-3 minutes on low flame.
6.Add 2 cups of water and salt to taste. Mix well and bring it to a boil.
7.Once it starts boiling, reduce the flame to low and cover the pan. Let it cook for 15-20 minutes or until the dalia is cooked and the water is absorbed.
8.Turn off the flame and let it rest for 5 minutes.
9.Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot.
