Chilli Fritters

Ingredients:
8-10 green chillies
1/2 cup besan (gram flour)
1/4 cup rice flour
1 tsp red chilli powder
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1/2 tsp cumin powder
Salt to taste
Water as required
Oil for frying
Recipe:
1.Wash and slit the green chillies lengthwise, remove the seeds and keep them aside.
2.In a mixing bowl, add besan, rice flour, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, cumin powder, and salt. Mix well.
3.Gradually add water and mix well until the batter is smooth and has a slightly thick consistency.
4.Heat oil in a deep frying pan on medium heat.
5.Dip the green chillies into the batter and coat them well.
6.Gently drop the coated chillies into the hot oil and fry until golden brown.
7.Remove with a slotted spoon and place on a kitchen towel to absorb the excess oil.
8.Serve hot with chutney or sauce of your choice.
