Moong Dal Chillla

Ingredients:
1 cup organic moong dal (split yellow lentils)
1/4 cup organic rice flour
1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds
1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
Salt to taste
1-2 green chilies, finely chopped
1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
1/4 cup tomato, finely chopped
2 tablespoons coriander leaves, finely chopped
Water as needed
Organic ghee or oil for cooking
Recipe:
1.Rinse and soak the moong dal for at least 3-4 hours. Drain the water and transfer the dal to a blender.
2.Add cumin seeds, turmeric powder, green chilies, and salt to the blender. Blend to a smooth batter, adding water as needed.
3.Transfer the batter to a mixing bowl and add rice flour. Mix well to combine.
4.Add finely chopped onions, tomatoes, and coriander leaves to the batter. Mix well.
5.Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat. Once hot, add a little ghee or oil and spread it evenly.
6.Pour a ladle full of batter onto the pan and spread it gently in a circular motion to form a thin pancake.
7.Drizzle some ghee or oil around the edges and cook on medium heat until golden brown on one side.
8.Flip and cook the other side until golden brown.
9.Repeat with the remaining batter.
Serve hot with chutney or tomato ketchup.
